Jainendra Public school selected for State level Children Science Congress
Team of Shreya and Ishant class IX of Jainendra public school won prize in District Children Science Congress in senior urban category organized at Blue Bird School Panchkula. In the guidance of science teacher Mrs Seema Agnihotri they surveyed for cause of increasing back problems in the age group of 18 years to 50 years. Wrong sitting posture and lack of exercise was the major reason for this problem. To solve the problem they designed a chair which can warn you with an alarm to make you sit straight with your back aligned with the chair. By keeping the posture right we can prevent many spine related problems. The school team will present this project in State Children Science Congress at Sonepat next week.
Dr Harvinder Saini DEO Panchkula gave away medals and merit certificates to the winners.
The officiating Principal Saroj Sharma encouraged students to be socially responsible citizen and prepare such projects which benefit community and our environment. Diya Mahajan and Gurpreet Singh of class VIII were also awarded with merit certificates and medal for International Humanity Olympiad.
