72nd Independence Day Celebration 2018

                       72nd Independence Day Celebration at Shri Jainendra Gurukul, Panchkula.

 

Shri  Jainendra Gurukul celebrated 72nd Independence Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation a special programme was conducted at Atam Auditorium. The school band saluted Hon’ble Sh. Kaptan Singh Solanki, Governor Haryana who graced the occasion with his presence as the chief guest of the programme. The message of conserving environment was given by the Chief guest by planting saplings.

Worthy Sh. Rattan Lal Kataria, M.P, Ambala and Revered Sh. Satyanarayana Jatiya, M.P Rajya Sabha, enhanced the celebrations being there as the guests of Honour . Other dignitaries present were Smt. Latika Sharma, MLA Haryana and Sh. Mukul Kumar, DC Panchkula.

 The guests were given floral welcome by Sh. Subash Oswal Jain The President and Sh. V.K. Jain The Secretary, Shri Jainendra Gurukul. In his welcome speech the President gave a glimpse of achievements of the school and solicited the co-operation of the Government for their noble project of the University.      

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries. The school choir welcomed all the dignitaries with a beautifully choreographed classical dance. An action song sung by primary section students evoked the patriotic feelings among all. A special presentation on diversity of India ‘Unity in Diversity’ made everyone glued to their seats watching different costumes and dance forms of India. The girl students enthralled the audience with their performance on  patriotic theme and saluted the empowered women of Haryana.

The programme was applauded by the chief guest and he appreciated the efforts put up by the staff and the management of Shri Jainendra Gurukul. He also inspired the students to inculcate values of discipline and dedication for their duties and responsibilities towards their society and nation. The chief guest and other dignitaries were honoured and felicitated with mementoes.  The program culminated with the singing of National Anthem
