Commitment to Cleanliness in Jainendra
Jainendra Public School observed cleanliness drive from 1st to 15th September 2018. Students were made aware of the importance of their personal hygiene and its impact on them and their surroundings students made slogans and painted poster highlighting theme of this drive. This drive laid emphasis on individual’s hygiene and how it can improve living standard of each one of us. Students were asked to bring a cloth as duster from their home to give their contribution in this cleanliness drive. Day wise activities were planed starting from Swachhata shapath on 1st Sept then extensive cleaning of toilets, classrooms bushes in the campus and the surrounding area. All kinds of material was removed, Debates, skit, poem on swachhata were organized.
Water storage tanks and drinking water area was cleaned. Students were encouraged to write postcards to the Hon’ble Prime Minister describing their contribution.
Students understood its importance and used face masks to provide protection against liquid and airborne particles which cause infection students witnessed that shortage of clean water, clean environment had become a major cause of concern and can give birth to fatal diseases.
