Grand Children’s Day Celebrations at Jainendra

A Day rejoicing Childhood – Birthday of our First Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, Children’s Day was celebrated with gaiety & fervour at Jainendra Public School, Panchkula  on 14th Nov 2017. The programme was timed up with informative, fun filled & entertaining cultural presentations. The Grand Celebration started with auspicious Lamp Lighting ceremony by the Chief Guest Mr. Pankaj Setia, S.D.M., Panchkula. 

To commemorate Lord Shiva scintillating ‘Shiv Stuti’  was performed by students. Next the kids of primary section paid tribute to Chacha Nehru by singing an impressive group song. The Middle Class Students enthralled the stage and welcomed the Guests through Bhangra by showcasing the splendour our Fiesta of Punjabi culture. The children of Nursery & Primary Section mesmerized everyone with their plethora of items under the sub themes of patriotism, conservation of environment, women empowerment, right to education etc. by performing different dance forms, enactments songs & poem recitation.  Students presented the importance of five elements i.e. Air, Water, Fire, Earth and Sky through their exquisite dance.  This entailed with the rigorous and well coordinated presentation of Taekwondo & Yoga showing the importance of self defence and healthy life style.   The motto of “ Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat given by our revered Prime Minister Sh. Narender Modi was made to life through the folk dances of Maharashtra and Manipur showcasing CBSE Matrix and essence of unity in India’s Cultural Diversity.  About 500 students participated in this extravaganza.    

The new President of Sh. Jainendra Gurukul Sh. Gaurav Jain applauded the children and encouraged them to do their best in life. He appreciated the student’s performances and motivated them by saying that the correct blend of co-curricular activities and education enhance an all round development of students, the future citizens of the nation. The Principal congratulated and showered blessing to the Children. Refreshment was provided for all the students.
