Jainedra Public School Panchkula observed Earth day with great zest & zeal. The day was made special & exemplary by the teachers who came attired in green colour. In a specially organized assembly students took pledge to ‘Save Mother Earth’ by conserving natural resources & protecting earth from pollution. A thought provoking skit “Save Earth†left deep impact on young minds. The students expressed their concern towards mother earth by making impressive posters, collage and slogans on Earth Day.
Children of the school planted saplings in HERBAL PARK of the school and gave the message of ‘go green’ to one and all. Students whole heartedly participated in the rally with slogans and posters organized by district administration Panchkula. Students also kept lights and fans switched off during the day and promised to save energy as much as they can. Principal Mrs. Sudha Babbar encouraged students to play an important role as ambassadors of protection of nature in its pristine forms.
